1-19

Pugs tells Kelly that the e-mail that the got from sails that’s marked “confidential” is pretty wild. Kelly wonders if Pugs knows what’s the difference between Valentine’s day and Rainbow Day at the Ball Park. Pugs doesn't know and Kelly tells him that on Valentine’s day, everyone wants to be heterosexual. Pugs says that he doesn't get that. Eric and Kelly laugh. Kelly brags that she made herself laugh out loud at the gym. Pugs wonders how everyone is doing today and Kelly brings out the magic 8-ball to ask. Pugs asks the 8-ball if it’s going to be a good show and it reads “my sources say no”... twice... Kelly asks if she’s going to be good on the show today and it tells her to ask again later. She complains that it’s a procrastinating 8-ball. Pugs asks it again if they're going to have a good show. Pugs complains that it came up on a corner. They invite the two new interns. Pugs tells us that he’s going to refer to them as thing one and thing two. They're names are Angela and Melissa.... and they sound exactly a like... great, this will make it that much harder for me.... Kelly says that they were talking about how the interns were doing well in Gavin's office. Thing one started on Thursday and Pugs was happy with the good job she did. Thing two came in on Friday and Pugs thought it was Thing one. Sybil said that they she was happy with the two new interns and Pugs claims that he got embarrassed that he thought they were the same people. Kelly tells Pugs that he got angry and defensive. Eric points out that he refused to talk to them during the meeting. Kelly tells us that they don't even look the same and points out that they have different color hair. Pugs hopes that Thing One and Thing Two aren't upset about all this. Kelly wonders if Eric and Sybil gave them a speech about not speaking to the talent. The interns says that they did get that talk and Pugs assures them that only stands for creepy guys like Kent or Cody. Eric tells them that they shouldn't speak during meetings and Kelly informs them that Eric learned that the hard way. Kelly says that if you happen to be in a meeting with a drugged out boss then shut up. Pugs tells them that they brew a wicked cup of tea and we say goodbye.

Pugs brings up how we're in day two of Conde Rice being grilled. Pugs tells us that they're all trashing her but they're all going to vote for her anyway. They play the clip of Rice vs Boxer. They're crapping all over each other and it’s friggin’ awesome. Pugs tells us that he was so turned on by this exchange. Eric plays a clip of her saying, “people were still using wangs”. Eric thinks that’s funny. Kelly thinks it’s funny to think about Rice walking around talking about wangs. Eric thinks that Rice’s head was about to explode during that exchange. Pugs and Kelly think that we need whack jobs on the far left and the far right so that we know where the middle is at. Pugs thinks that everyone made sense during this exchange. He acts out himself watching it. Pugs feels like he feels like that one dude in “Welcome Back Kotter”.

Pugs and Eric watched American Idol. Kelly has never embraced American Idol but this is Pugs third attempt to watch it. Kelly doesn't want to get wrapped up on a show that she has to watch every single day. Pugs admits that is how they lose him. Kelly will watch it in 2004 when she watches “I Love 2004" on VH-1. Kelly brags that she knows so much about 1993. They play “this season’s William Hung”. Kelly says that she doesn't like William Hung and Pugs proclaims his hate for him. Eric explains that this is her walking away from the cameras. Pugs wonders what the hell was that. He cant’ decide if she’s the greatest actress or an insane person. Pugs explains that the next clip is Toni Braxton’s cousin. Kelly wonders if that is true and Pugs tells her that it’s on TV so it’s true. Kelly reminds him that it’s Fox. Pugs thinks that this man is so gay that he’s floating. Simon (from the clip) tells Toni Braxton’s cousin that he has the weirdest voice that he’s ever heard. Sugar Ray says that it sounds like a different language. Pugs explains that he walked out saying that these people had no idea what they were talking about. Pugs explains that one woman had to decide to pawn the wedding ring or the kareoke machine in order to stay to audition. He tells us that this horrible person decided to get rid of her wedding ring. He complains that they were trying to make this woman seem like she’s doing something great but Pugs and Kelly say that you should never do that. However, she sounded great. Pugs thinks that this is a woman that couldn't give a rat’s ass about her marriage. Kelly suggests that maybe she puts more stock into the marriage but not the ring. Pugs thinks about it and decides that if he was in that husband’s position, he'd agree to do it. However, he'd be outraged that she would even see it as an option. Adam calls in to say that the wedding ring was only 200 bucks so you can to Calmat to get another. Kelly reminds us that pawn shops are horrible about under paying. Pugs says that it doesn't matter if it was poor it was the meaning behind the ring.

Sam the Mail Man joins the show and Kelly points out that Sam has another name. Sam's other name is Mark. Sam tells us that Kelly calls him Smark. They've known Sam for 12 years and Kelly thinks that you can't change your name after that long. Pugs says that he knows that people know his real name but he doesn't like for listeners to call him John. He complains that his girlfriend and his girlfriend's kids call him that though. Smark the Mail Man tells us that the link to the Playa Del Carmen... the Mexico trip... is up on the Live 105.3 website. I'm starting a swear jar in order to pay for my trip... I'm up to 2 grand. I swear a lot. Kelly says that they were going to see if she and Pugs could pay for Eric and Sybil's trip. Kelly then realized that she would have to pay for four tickets and decided against it. Pugs thinks that they could just take Eric and Sybil as their guest. Kelly says that she'd be planning on having a boyfriend by then. Pugs brags that he's on record for saying that he'd take them even though he has no intention of it. Eric points out that he's also on record revealing his devious plan. Kelly doesn't remember the last vacation she's been on. She explains that a vacation to her is a place that she would want to go to but has no obligations to visit. Pugs complains that he doesn't like the beach. He doesn't like wearing bathing suits. He also hates sand and salt water. He does like resorts and resort bars. Kelly reveals that she and Gavin discussed going to Hawaii together. They then realized that would be weird. Pugs says that it would be weird because she's below him. Kelly says that she doesn't think that Gavin is below her. A caller calls in to say that the beaches there are clothing optional. Pugs reminds the caller that he can just go to topless joint here and he wouldn't have to deal with the sand behind his ears. Kelly loves the beach and tells us that she loves to go body surfing. Pugs reminds Kelly that we've recently learned what mother nature could do to people at the beach.

Pugs says that he's tired of talking about the tsunami. He doesn't think that it's worth his time because he's never going to any of these places. Kelly tells Pugs that it doesn't matter who he ends up with, she's probably going to want to go to the beach. Pugs reminds Kelly that he's dating a woman that grew up in San Diego, California and she's beach crazy. Pugs tells us that he could be burned so bad that he could go to the emergency room. Pugs also complains about the way that sun screen feels on his skin. Kelly agrees. Kelly explains that Nate Burkes is the decorator they have on Oprah. Kelly was shocked to find out that he was gay. She learned this because he was caught in the tsunami while with his man lover. Pugs tells Kelly that she shouldn't be shocked because he's a decorator. Kelly says that his retelling of his tsunami experience makes it seem so real. Back with that retelling... after this! Freaking C-teases.

Dax Roberts blog.
Will here, my recording of Monday's show only caught the last 20 minutes of Howard, the long commercial break in between shows, and then the first 5 minutes of P and K... without the P.... So there will be no Kelly and Dr. Schwartz and Tony Casillas show blog.

I got an e-mail from a person named Dax Roberts. Dax said that he would like to try a blog. So, here is the Dax Robert's Blog. Remember, if you'd like to do a guest blog then E-mail me at will@pugsandkellylive.com... the more nude pics you send the better... right Dax?

The midday show

Kelly brings up that Saturday night Sybil, Eric, Gavin, and herself
were at the female wrestling event that they were doing an appearance
at was hilarious. "Oh my God, Oh my God!" Kelly thought that it was
incredibly funny. Kelly says that they were yelling things at people
and Eric's friends always seem to take things a step too far. Kelly
and Eric tell pugs about the things that happened at the event and
things that was said to these woman that were Wrestling.
Kelly wants to tell a joke that was told to her by someone named
Mickey and Pugs does not feel comfortable about it, because Pugs was
aware of the joke and did not find it appropriate and wanted no part
of it. He wanted to keep his job. Kelly there turns and tells Eric,
what the difference is between St. Patrick's day and Martin Luther
King Day is? St. Patrick's Day, Everyone wants to be Irish! Pugs did
not find that funny. A listener called in and thought that her joke
was offensive and thought that Kelly should be fired for telling the
joke. "Don't you think that it's harder to Black than it is to be
White"? Kelly states. Kelly states that she's lazy and she would
rather be white because it's easier. Pugs remains to stay
uncomfortable about the joke that was told and doesn't like talking
about the whole race situation. Some callers find that Kelly's joke
was fine and take no offence and one caller is offended about the
whole thing, Pugs still doesn't want any part of the conversation and
doesn't get the joke. Pugs gives Kelly the calls and tells her it's
her segment.

Break

Pugs brings up the topic about a couple of states that were not going
to recognize Martin Luther King Day, that people had a problem having
a holiday about a Guy a black guy at that. Pugs points out about a
debate that was going on and the state of Mississippi was splitting
the holiday. Yesterday was not just a day to recognize Martin Luther
King, but an observance of Martin Luther King and General Robert E.
Lee's Birthday. This Pugs is disturbed by, because the civil war was
about slavery and Robert E. Lee was all for that. Robert E. Lee is not
a hero, Pugs states with an apology. Yesterday wasn't even Robert E.
Lee's Birthday and it was found bad taste to do such a thing, for
those who don't even really know what Martin Luther King day is about.
Kelly wanted to know if it was such a bad thing to celebrate someone
that fought for everyone being equal. Pugs has a problem with the
whole thing with taking Martin Luther King Day away, he just wanted to
know why cant it be just Martin Luther King day instead of splitting
it up and placing someone that was for states rights and caused
slavery. A caller calls to try to justify for Robert E. Lee on his
whole Great American and rising up perception. Kelly asks this caller
if you take the same principles with Robert E. Lee and this Great
American and Rising up, would that same sympathy go towards the
soldiers in Iraq that lay down their arms and say that they are not
going to fight because they don't have the equipment needed to win
this war? Are they Great Americans or are they rebel rouser's and
might as well be with the terrorist? The argument between the caller,
Pugs states that the ones who rose up against the rest of us were not
Great Americans. Callers continued to call and ask if other people in
our governments or state back in the beginning of the America were
they Great Americans or Terrorists.

Women! Pugs brings up a story about a President from Harvard
University, goes into specifics about the differences between men and
women. In a way saying that he does not expect much out of female
graduates from Harvard. Pugs states that yes there are differences in
men and women, physical or otherwise, and states that there is women
that dummy it down around men because they don't want to seem
intellectually superior. Kelly states that scientifically men are
smarter in math and science than women, pugs disagrees. In Pugs'
experiences there was women that were doing the complex problems and
he was the one that had to go sit back down. Kelly also states that
this president probably has scientific studies that show this. Pugs
states two things that women are better at than men.
1. Remembering birthdays, kids parent teacher conferences,
anniversaries and stuff like that.
2. Figure Skating ("can't argue this")
Kelly states that the one occupation that people all over the world
strive to achieve and on their death bed hope that this was the one
thing that they were able to do. (Prostitute) Pugs says. Mothering
Kelly finishes.
Kelly says that this guy that says this about women, what he said
could be interpreted, as that women can't beat a man with mathematical
and scientific knowledge and stuff like that. He did not stay that. He
may see a woman and say that she is there on circumstantial reason or
she slept her way to the top, this is dangerous. Callers call in and
voice their opinions. Pugs and Kelly announce for the 10th caller to
see Lewis Black @ Lakewood Theater and a $20 gift certificate to
Pastazio's.

Paradise
P&K talk about the trip to Mexico and that they will be staying in a
five star hotel...This Excites Pugs to be staying in a Five Star
Hotel. Amery called in with the Paradise word of the day which was
"Tropical", Amery won a Live 105.3 prize pack and qualified for a trip
4 day 3 night trip for two Barcelo Maya Beach. Pugs talks about the
experience the first time that he was in Mexico, they were tearing up
the floor in a all-stone room that was right above him. And how do you
think that they tore up an all-stone room at 9am in the morning on
Pugs' vacation, with a Jackhammer.
Kelly finds out that her son is a genius, "decide if kids jumping
grades is accelerating the progress of the best and brightest or
creating the next generation of super dork"? Pugs states that he hates
kids and that Kelly's son is the smartest kid that he has met. Shemp
(Kelly's ex-husband) was in the studio to hear what Kelly wanted to
tell him about their son that they have together. Their son's teacher
had a lot of good things to say about him and is very proud of his
performance. He was tested at a fifth grade level at age 8 and scored
a 94%, this child is only in second grade. Kelly doesn't want her son
to be bored in school and she wants him to challenged in school. Now
she faces if he will advance a grade or so and move to another school.
Shemp also told a story about how he caught his son this past weekend
on hiding candy that he brought over to Shemps house. Their son who
watches MSNBC with Kelly can also tell his sister that two girl
Barbie's cant be married unless they're in Vermont where they have gay
marriage.
Question for Kelly from Pugs will this cause a problem for her son
moving him from his comfort zone to a whole new school?

Break

Still facing the question of what Kelly and Shemp will now do with
their son is still at hand. Kelly states that she is "so incredibly
grateful that however else I have managed to screw up my life, my kids
are both smart! Thank the Lord"! The conversation of moving their son
to higher grade for his age continues, caller's call in with their
life experiences with being advanced in school. Some are discouraging
them to advance their son and others are telling them that it was a
good thing. Shemp tells an instance where his son was tested once
before and he was at a lower score and he was disappointed that he was
Kelly and Shemp says that he likes to be a head. Kelly says that her
son is freaky because he went to Disney World and wanted to see all
the science exhibits and a time when Kelly said that if he was good he
could watch any show. That show was the Ben Franklin story.

Break

The conversation about the trip to Mexico came up again letting
listeners know to listen to Howard Stern in the morning for the
Paradise word of the day for their chance to win. Last break of the
show

Break

P&K mention that they will be at Sherlock's in Arlington tomorrow @
I-30 and Collins (linkin square). A Las Vegas weatherman was fired for
making a racial slur about Martin Luther King, Pugs reads the story.
The gentleman stated that it was Martin Luther (Coon) King Jr. day.
Pugs believes that possibly someone put it on the prompter and the man
read it and is now being penalized for it. Kelly believes that it was
possible that he combined words and it came out that way. The man who
said this apologized for what he said.
"For Kelly I'm Pugs"," For Pugs I'm Kelly".
